Copper / Silver Bangle
Helsaya bracelet made with the genuine 18th Century sunken Russia leather, hand stitched with luminous marine whipping twine. Inner structure is hand crafted, pure untreated ‘virgin’ Cornish copper from circa 1780-1810. Finished with hand casted solid 925 sterling silver ends. Also available in gold and platinum, with alternative logos on request. The ends can be omitted from the design to show the naked copper.
Genuine Cornish copper is now rare and remains the world’s best. 270 mines were in place, some 1,000 metres deep, and some went out under the sea beds; not far from where Metta Catherina sank, with the very same leather in it.

When Helsaya’s leather was sunken it was in the same year that Mozart played the Marriage of Figaro overture for the first time.
